Leach Named Of Counsel at Sacks Weston Diamond

PHILADELPHIA - Feb. 16, 2016 - PRLog -- State Senator Daylin Leach announced today that he would be joining the Philadelphia law firm of Sacks Weston Diamond, LLC.  Senator Leach will be of counsel to the firm effective May 1st, 2016.

Senator Leach was first elected to the state house in 2002 and served three terms there. In 2008 Daylin was elected to the state senate, representing the 17th Senatorial District which includes portions of Montgomery and Delaware Counties. Currently, Senator Leach is Democratic Chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee and also serves on the Appropriations, Education and Environmental Resources Committees.

Daylin graduated from Temple University and the University of Houston Law Center, as well as Harvard's Kennedy School of Government Legislative Training Program. He is also a Flemming Fellow of the Arthur S. Flemming Fellows Association.

This is the first law firm affiliation Senator Leach has entered into since being elected. Prior to entering the legislature he practiced law from 1986-2002 focusing on general litigation matters, including corporate litigation, education law, personal injury, criminal defense and civil rights.

Senator Leach had resisted joining a firm since his election because he had young children and wanted to devote whatever spare time he had to them. However, now that they are older, Daylin is anxious to return to his chosen profession in a part-time capacity.
