Support the Boys & Girls Club of Collier County Through Give Where You Live Collier

Feb. 22, 2016 - PRLog -- The Boys & Girls Club of Collier County (BGCCC) invites the community to support Collier County youth through Give Where You Live Collier. Donations this year will be accepted from Feb. 29 to March 1.

On March 1, between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m., members of the community are invited to stop by BGCCC at 7500 Davis Boulevard in Naples, for a complimentary donut and coffee. A suggested donation of $1 for the Give Where You Live campaign is encouraged. BGCCC is one of 40 participating nonprofit organizations in Collier County who will benefit from the Give Where You Live Collier movement.

“The donations we receive through Give Where You Live Collier help us do more to support the community and ensure our youth have a safe place to grow and learn,” says Theresa Shaw, president and CEO of the Boys and Girls Club Collier County.

Donations are accepted online through GiveWhereYouLiveCollier.org until noon on March 1.

$400,000 Matching Fund

Thanks to the Community Foundation of Collier County and the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation, Give Where You Live Collier features a $400,000 matching fund. Every nonprofit that receives a donation from noon, February 29, 2016 to noon, March 1, 2016 will receive a proportionate share of the matching fund, increasing the value of every dollar donated. For example, if the Boys and Girls Club of Collier County receives 10% of the total donations made through Give Where You Live Collier, they will also receive 10% of the $400,000 matching fund.
