David & Friends Low Country Old School Event

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Feb. 23, 2016 - PRLog -- Each year during the month of February, we are all preparing for the fun and excitement that comes with the CIAA Tournaments in Charlotte, North Carolina and this year is no exception. David and Friends, a non-profit organization that promotes knowledge thru Education and Humanity, hosts a huge event to support and contribute to HBCU’s. Our events have been phenomenal and in 2015, David and Friend’s was able to support the following by contributing monetarily to the following:

1)The Diocese of The Southeast Reformed Episcopal Church - Summerville,

South Carolina.

2)Feed The Homeless for Thanksgiving - First Baptist Church, East Elmhurst,

New York.

3)"My Sister's House Transitional Living Center" Friendship Baptist Church,

Charlotte, North Carolina.

4)The Low Country Flood Relief - Berkeley County, South Carolina.

5)Charlotte Alumni Chapter for South Carolina State University.

6)Charlotte Alumni Chapter of Livingstone University.

David & Friends is a community of people who gather to enjoy celebrating great food, great music and great people and with our mission of bringing people together to engage in social events, philanthropic services and providing education to the youth, but our most outstanding goal of them all, is to enhance the minds of all.

Although we provided support and contributions last year, we still feel like we can do more. This year, we would like to reach further and provide more support to other HBCU Chapters and causes. How can you help? Join us on February 26, 2016 for our annual Low Country Old School Masquerade Bash from 7:00 pm – 12:00 am at Oasis Shriners located at 604 Doug Mayes Place, Charlotte, NC 28262. This event will be full of surprises as DJ Stacey Blackman of Old School 105.3 provides us with all of our favorite old school tunes. There will be dancing, laughter and plenty of fun as we celebrate the 2016 CIAA Tournament.

Being a part of the Low Country Old School Event will provide you access to our ‘ALL INCLUSIVE’ all you can eat Low Country Cuisine of shrimp, grits, pulled barbeque turkey, pulled barbeque pork, low country broil, and more. We will also have an ‘ALL INCLUSIVE’ open bar full of top shelf liquors. Yes, all of this comes with your entry to our event for a low cost of $50.00 per person. Tickets are now on sale.
