Princeton Properties' Andrew Chaban Elected Chairman of NAHB Multifamily Council

ANDOVER, Mass. - Feb. 29, 2016 - PRLog -- Princeton Properties' Chief Executive Officer Andrew M. Chaban of Andover, MA was elected as chairman of the NAHB Multifamily Council by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).

Founded in 1973, Princeton Properties of Lowell, MA acquires, builds, renovates, leases and manages apartment communities and corporate furnished apartments. Currently, Princeton Properties owns and manages more than 5,000 apartment homes for rent in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine. Chaban is considered to be one of the foremost industry experts in the field of rehabilitation and management of multifamily rental housing.

Chaban has a long and productive history with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).   He is the immediate Past Chairman of the Housing Finance Committee, a Capitol Club Member, Executive Board Member, Life Director and Investments Committee Chairman. In the past he was National Area Chairman (2009 - 2011), Moderator (2007) of the State Representatives, Chairman (2007) of the Public Affairs Committee, Chairman (2006) of the State and Local Government Affairs Committee, Chairman (2005) of the Federal Government Affairs Committee, Chairman (2003) of the Capitol Club, Chairman (2003 & 2013) of the Resolutions Committee and Multifamily Chairman (2001).  Mr. Chaban was the founding Chairman of the Housing Credit Certification Board, responsible for credentialling tax credit compliance professionals.
