A common thread woven throughout the book by many different contributors was liquidity. “There is quite a bit in the book that talks about the liquidity, the extent to which liquidity has changed… looks in aggregate on what’s happening and to what degree that liquidity has really been reduced,” says Fridson.  The book, “…gets into a lot of detail about how the data has been reported by regulators and how you measure the performance in the market.”
