Instead, Dr. Orcutt takes digital video impressions of his patients’ teeth at the chair and wirelessly transmits those impressions to the CEREC milling machine – similar to a 3-D printer – in his office. The crown, perfectly formed and color-matched, is ready to place in a matter of minutes.
