Is UBER Adhering To KYC Procedures

Recently there have been cases of mass murder and accusation of intended rape by UBER Drivers. The question being posed here: “ARE UBER OFFICIALS ADHERING TO KYC PROCEDURES” for all of its drivers?

KYC (Know your customer) is an important know-your-customer step developed globally to prevent identity theft, financial fraud, money laundering and terrorist financing. The objective of KYC can also enable companies to know about the individuals that it selects to conduct business with and garner a better understanding of how to mitigate potential risks. KYC is adopted by all professional companies.

UBER is a public/global entity and it is mandatory that such a company adheres to proper procedures in order to protect the general public.

Persons with mental , physiological, psychological or criminal disorders SHOULD NOT BE UBER DRIVERS.

UBER should be well versed with which driver may pose a threat to customers and establish preventative measures to ensure the safety of the general public.
