Llano Earth Art Fest LEAF 2016 & The World Rock Stacking Championships

LLANO, Texas - March 6, 2016 - PRLog -- The 2nd annual Llano Earth Art Festival (LEAF) and Rock Stacking World Championship Competition will take place March 11-13, 2016 at Grenwelge Park in historic downtown Llano, Texas on the banks of the Llano River. A celebration of the bridge between man and nature known as 'Earth Art", LEAF is a full weekend of amazing artistic performances centering on the use of natural, found materials along the river bed and surrounding area. Rock balancers from across the U.S. will be demonstrating their gravity defying  abilities along with thousands of non-professional rock stackers to create an otherworldly landscape in the park by Sunday afternoon. Live music can be enjoyed the entire time with headline acts such as 'Bugaboo" Friday night and "Calliope Musicals" Saturday night. This is an event for all ages with plenty of activities aimed at entertaining the younger crowds including a giant vertical rock climbing wall, face painting, art activities and a 12' tall walking and talking "Tree of Life", firedancers among others. With over 30 specially selected merchandise vendors, a dozen varieties of food and snack offerings, scheduled workshops almost every hour and a few little surprises here and there everyone is guaranteed to find something to fascinate and delight their senses and entertain even the hardest to please grouch!
