His vibrant blog now provides a worldwide audience of 17 million+ followers with glimpses into the lives of strangers in New York City and abroad. It has also become a #1 NYT bestselling book. Walter Cronkite served as the Chairman of Reach the World’s founding Advisory Board. Mr. Cronkite was not only one of the world’s leading journalists, but also a great explorer. Each year, RTW gives the Cronkite Award in his memory to an individual whose life and work exemplifies this intersection between exploration and storytelling.
