Follow on Google News | Chef Jean-Marc Hardy Breaks the Sound Barrier Through Food and Music MasterpiecesBy: Chef Jean-Marc Hardy Jean-Marc is also excited to announce his new pilot "Le Piano de Cuisine" that will launch this summer. The title is inspired by European chefs who call the stove " Le Piano de Cuisine", relating to the kitchen equipment and tools in musical terms, even the pots and pans. Chefs consider the kitchen a musical stage in which to create and showcase their craft, the same as a musician. "I'm thrilled to share my love of food and music. I'm an artist at heart and want to inspire others to express their creativity just like me! It's the only way of life I know. Growing up on a farm in Pays de Loire, France, I was taught to appreciate and respect all aspects of how food is sourced. Music is the perfect compliment to food.", cheers Jean-Marc. He will feature recipes with a focus on local, fresh ingredients, hand-selected 'Musical Pairings', perform in tandem with celebrated musicians and musings on his traveling destinations filmed initially in Manhattan, Brooklyn and The Hamptons. In this 30-minute hour docudrama "Le Piano de Cuisine" will explore the creative/emotional process of musicians and chefs by the similarities in making music and a meal. The show will touch upon 'Emotional Memory' in senses, sight, taste, sound and smell - and how they intersect and blend in the psyche of music and cuisine.
