Local Business Brings Classic Films to Downtown Tucson

The film series offers several classic films starring such actors as Lauren Bacall, Humphrey Bogart, Kirk Douglas, Gloria Grahame, Robert Mitchum, Edward G. Robinson, Barbara Stanwyck, and Orson Welles.  These are the classics that paved the way for modern day filmmakers.  The Screening Room offers beer and wine as well as the usual movie theater snack bar items such as popcorn and soft drinks.  They also serve the entire menu from Empire Pizza and Pub which will be delivered directly to the person while they watch the film.

Upcoming film dates are Thursday, March 31, 2016, Wednesday, May 4, 2016, and Thursday May 26, 2016.  The program each showing will offer interesting facts and details about the film and the many people who worked on the film.  There is an option for individuals to help sponsor films.  Sponsoring films at different levels will guarantee tickets to films and options to have names and logos displayed on The Screening Room's Marquee visible from Congress St.  Those interested should visit the Vaudeville Entertainment Productions website for more details about sponsoring films or other events.
