Manitoban & Founder of GORP Clean Energy Bars, wins the 2016 Mompreneur Award of Excellence

NIVERVILLE, Manitoba - March 14, 2016 - PRLog -- The Moment has arrived and the winner of the 2016 Mompreneur Award of Excellence has been selected. Niverville's Colleen Dyck of GORP Clean Energy Bar has been crowned one of Canada's Top moms in business by her peers and the community.

4 winners were selected from an incredible list of 20 finalists, close to 200 nominees and 17,000 candidates from across the country.  A diverse panel of Business Leaders judged the finalist entries. The winner was chosen based on a set of specific criteria including track record of success, innovation of business idea, and impact on community.

We are proud to announce that: Colleen Dyck, of GORP Clean Energy Bar from Niverville, MB won the Mompreneur of the Year Award.

GORP Clean Energy Bar is an all natural energy bar made on the family farm in the Canadian Prairies. It's packed full of many local healthy ingredients and contains no fake sugars or preservatives. Each batch is rolled out by hand - with love. Conceived by Colleen, because she needed a convenient and healthy snack for her athletic training and for her family, she hopes that her bars inspire more than just healthy eating but to get out and have an adventure!
