Boylston Street church marks 3-year anniversary of Marathon bombings

Old South Church in Boston and MA Resiliency Center to hold Interfaith Service of Resiliency with speaker, former MA Gov. Deval Patrick
 
BOSTON - March 21, 2016 - PRLog -- On 'One Boston Day' (4/15/16), Old South Church in Boston, The Church of the Finish Line, will hold a gentle Interfaith Service of Resiliency in partnership with The Massachusetts Resiliency Center at 2:30 pm to commemorate the third anniversary of the Boston Marathon© bombings. Former Massachusetts Governor Deval L. Patrick will speak. The service will pause at 2:49 pm to observe the statewide moment of silence.

The service will be broadcast live via New England Cable News (NECN).

The Massachusetts Resiliency Center provides support and services to victims of the April 2013 Boston Marathon© bombings and related events. The Resiliency Center is a survivor driven and survivor led organization created to make the process of getting support and assistance easier for the widespread, global community of survivors.

Old South Church (645 Boylston Street) is located 100 feet from the Marathon finish line and since April 2013 has ministered to survivors and first responders including many in the congregation. (http://www.oldsouth.org)
