LHTYF's President earns esteemed Spotlight Award

ATLANTA - March 21, 2016 - PRLog -- Live Healthy & Thrive Youth Foundation, Inc., (LHTYF) president Lori A. Manns was recently honored by The Atlantan Magazine as a 2016 recipient of the Social Spotlight Award, given to Atlanta's most influential and philanthropic professionals.

The Atlantan held a celebratory event at Flourish, where local leaders and philanthropists were honored for their achievements in the areas of charitable causes, philanthropy, work place accomplishments and contributions to the community.  The Spotlight Award recipients are also featured in the Charity & Social Datebook, an annual publication of Modern Luxury, the parent company of Atlantan Magazine.

"This award is a source of great pride to our organization, and shows our dedication to educating children towards better health as well as providing financial support to high school students for college. I am so honored to have been recognized for the Spotlight award." said Manns.

Live Healthy & Thrive Youth Foundation (LHTYF) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to children's health and has been serving Atlanta youth since 2011. Since its inception, LHTYF has provided health programs to educate kids about the dangers of obesity, diabetes and hypertension and has given over $15,000 in college scholarships to high school students in the metropolitan Atlanta area. As founder and president of LHTYF, Manns oversees the organization's programs, events and operations.
