"AIN'T IT GRAND is the kind of pratfallin', sight-gaggin', scenery chewin' comedy that put DTS Entertainment on the map!" says star Derek Taylor Shayne. "Our last picture, IT CAME FROM BENEATH THE BEYOND, was a huge success and this Summer we'll be tackling 1940's film noir with THE LONG BIG GOODBYE. Great movies both, but not the kind we built our audience with. Most hardcore DTS fans got that way from our earlier slapstick two-reelers, with virtually no storylines to get in the way of the comedy. When a series of gag clips culled from our older films was released this year and met with a terrific response, it got us to thinking about returning to our roots. The result is AIN'T IT GRAND, in which I play myself AND my cantankerous Grandfather, with lots of visual gags and great supporting performances by Laura Young (BREAKING EVEN), Shaynee Barnett (IT CAME FROM BENEATH THE BEYOND) and of course, Celine (SEE: EVERY PICTURE WE'VE EVER MADE).
