Nick Clegg and TribePad discuss TechNorth and apprenticeships

SHEFFIELD, U.K. - March 31, 2016 - PRLog -- Former Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg visited Sheffield-based tech company TribePad today to discuss plans to unite digital companies across the North with the MP's TechNorth scheme.  The Government-funded scheme aims to double the number of workers in the sector helping to put the North of England on the international map.

TribePad who provide recruitment software for some of the world's largest organisations including the BBC, Tesco and G4S, used the opportunity to speak with Nick Clegg about their "Applicant Tracking System" as well as their new cutting-edge video interviewing platform.

Another one of the MP's and Liberal Democrats' priorities is to increase the number of apprenticeships in business, and Mr Clegg spoke today with some of TribePad's own successes.  During the Coalition Government, the number of apprenticeships nearly doubled.
