Windsong Properties' Mike Shina Earns Graduate Master Builder Educational Designation

ATLANTA - March 31, 2016 - PRLog -- Windsong Properties is proud to announce that Construction Manager Mike Shina has become one of a select group of professional home builders nationwide to attain the Graduate Master Builder (GMB) designation, identifying him as one of the building industry's top professionals.

Administered by National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Education, the GMB program is sponsored locally by the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association.

"I'm pleased to have completed the requirements for this educational designation," said Shina. "The curriculum is very comprehensive, and as a result, I believe I can provide better services for our customers."

To qualify for the GMB designation program, a builder must have attained either the Certified Graduate Builder (CGB) or Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR) designations and have five years of building industry experience or have successfully completed an additional three NAHB-approved courses and have at least 10 years of industry experience.

GMB graduates complete an intensive series of courses on how to capitalize on business opportunities, executive-level financial management, managing risk in an evolving market and other building industry topics.

Shina is also a LEED Accredited Professional (US Green Building Council Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) and a Certified Graduate Builder (CGB). He has worked at Windsong Properties for almost 10 years and appreciates being able to build elegant, energy efficient, highly unique and personalized homes for active adult buyers. Shina has lived in the north Metro Atlanta area for 18 years and enjoys outdoor activities from biking to boating with his two sons.
