New Spring and Summer Menu Makes Debut at Cedar Lake Cellars

ST. LOUIS - April 1, 2016 - PRLog -- Cedar Lake Cellars, a winery and event center, recently introduced its new spring and summer menu that highlights locally grown produce by area vendors.

New lunch menu items include South Philly pretzel cheese steak, grilled asparagus bâtard, and wine country chicken salad wrap.  Dinner additions include baked chevre, barley-fed and salt-roasted prime rib, and bruschetta chicken.

The winery offers a rotating list of fresh cheeses from Golden L Creamery in Silex, Mo., as well as seasonal meats and sausages from Behrmann Meat and Processing in Albers, Ill.  All fruits and vegetables are bought from local vendors including Lakeview Farms in St. Peters, Mo. and McCann's Forest Farms in Woodstock, Ill.

Cedar Lake Cellars is open year-round Fri. through Sun. from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. for those 21 and older with live music scheduled throughout the weekend.  "Grab and go" lunch service is available from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and full-service dining from 5 to 9 p.m.  Guests are invited to eat their meals near the winery's three-acre lake where picnic benches and grassy areas are perfect for outdoor dining.

The restaurant seats 90 indoor and 120 patio diners with a wine bar that features 15 Cedar Lake Cellars wines, 3 Swans handcrafted wines from the West Coast, 25 wines of the world, craft and domestic beers, and signature wine slushies.
