WEBSTER, Texas - April 4, 2016 - PRLog -- Jim Saxe realized that there were limited recreational activities in his community and wanted to do something about it. After several attempts at securing financing, the hard work finally paid off when Mr. Saxe found a bank willing to provide financing and Putt-Putt Golf Course opened its doors. That was over 36 years ago.

Since the grand opening, the family entertainment center changed its name to Putt-Putt FunHouse and has gone through several renovations and expansions. The facility currently stands at 43,000 square feet in size and offers a multitude of attractions including 36 holes of miniature golf, bumper boats, bumper cars, a rock climbing wall and a 6-lane mini bowling attraction. The center's FunHouse Cafe seats 200 guests and offers a full service menu featuring all the classics such as pizza, hamburgers, salads and sandwiches. The highlight of the menu is the cafe's "choose your topping Mac & Cheese" item as well as its unlimited drink option called the "Slurp & Burp." Two other popular attractions offered at Putt-Putt FunHouse are the Lazer Frenzy laser maze attraction and multi-story laser tag arena, both from Creative Works (http://www.thewoweffect.com).

Laser tag has been a main attraction for the business since 1993. The arena has evolved quite a bit throughout the years. "My first laser tag attraction was an inflatable arena," said Saxe.  "After this, we constructed a fabric building. We then expanded our building and added a 3,200 sq ft laser tag arena. We added a second floor to the arena two years later," added Saxe.

The laser tag arena and its aging Egyptian theme desperately needed a facelift. Saxe found the perfect company to solve his problem when he met Creative Works at the IAAPA Attractions Expo. He was really impressed with the products and services the company offered and after doing some follow-up research, he knew they were the right choice. Saxe and the team at Creative Works worked together to re-theme the arena with an Earth Quest theme and call the newly re-imagined laser tag attraction "Warriors vs. Warbots." The new theme and updated attraction was an immediate hit with the customers. Players entering the arena are equipped with state-of-the-art LaserForce vests and phasers and navigate around the two-level lush and vibrant alien planet arena. The "Wow factor," as Saxe calls it, kicks in when the players encounter the 12' interactive "Warbot" in the center of the arena.

The re-theming process of the arena didn't go as smoothly as both companies had hoped. Due to unexpected circumstances, the arena painter for Creative Works had to leave before completing the job. "I asked how he could be leaving as he had not painted the second floor," said Saxe. Marsha Brentlinger from Creative Works quickly had discussions with Saxe on a plan to complete the job. "We wanted to make sure we complete the project as quickly as we can and to make sure that Jim is happy," said Brentlinger. "His satisfaction is our number one priority," added Brentlinger.

After a few scheduling conflicts, the arena was finally completed and Jim Saxe couldn't be happier. "All of our contacts and work relationships with Creative Works has been very professional and we have been very happy," exclaimed Saxe. "Our arena always receives raves from our customers on how great and fun their experience has been," he added. Laser tag has been one of the center's top revenue producing attractions and Saxe sees why they keep coming back. "The most important part is how much fun our customers have when playing laser tag," noted Saxe.

"After Creative Works re-themed our arena, our revenue increased 20%. Creative Works doesn't just paint laser tag arenas, they create experiences that 'Wow' your customers who will want to play numerous games with their family and friends forever," boasted Saxe.
