Martenson Family Funeral Homes celebrates fifty years

TRENTON, Mich. - April 7, 2016 - PRLog -- The Martenson family and staff invite friends, family and the public to join them in celebration of fifty years in business. On May 22, from 11:00a.m. until 4:00p.m. the Trenton location at 3200 West Road will host an open house and weather pending, an open lot for a  barbeque lunch.

The family will be erecting a new flag along with a local veterans group at 11:30a.m. on the property followed by an outdoor barbeque lunch. At 1:00p.m. event goers can join the celebration inside for the official anniversary cake cutting with local dignitaries.

Families can take advantage of this celebration to stop in for a free family portrait between 1:15 and 3:00p.m. One free print will be provided per family, on a first come, first serve basis with one pose per group.

There will also be children's activities, facility tours and an opportunity to meet grief therapy dogs.

"We have served so many families over the years, that we really wanted to say thank you for placing your trust in us. Please come and enjoy a fun and lighthearted event with us." Said John Martenson, Jr. "We are looking forward to grilling up lunch and enjoying cake with friends as we commemorate our golden anniversary."
