Country Floors Tile Design Challenge Winner With ELLE DECOR To Be Announced At Awards Ceremony

NEW YORK - April 7, 2016 - PRLog -- Luxury floor and tiling company Country Floors will announce the winner of their Inaugural Country Floors Tile Design Challenge with ELLE DECOR at their Manhattan showroom, located at 15 East 16^th Street on April 27, 2016. Red carpet arrivals will begin from 6:30-7pm with the general event to follow from 7-10pm. During the event Country Floors will unveil the winning tile design and present a check in the amount of $1,000 to Housing Works, NYC.

In less than two months, Country Floors has received numerous tile design submissions from students at Parsons School of Design, New York School of Interior Design, Pratt Institute and Fashion Institute of Technology, all for the chance to receive a feature in ELLE DECOR magazine, to be mentioned at the upcoming International Contemporary Furniture Fair. In addition, Country Floors has selected Kips Bay Decorator Show House, Holiday House NYC 2016 and Hampton Designer Showhouse to extend contributions to in honor of the tile challenge initiatives. The top ten contenders will be announced after the submission deadline on April 15^th, with the top 5 finalists to be contacted by phone. The top ten contenders will be able to walk the red carpet and attend the Tile Design Awards Ceremony.

The awards ceremony is expected to havea number of the interior design industry elite, top real estate executives, and prominent forces in the hospitality industry in attendance. The night will allow guests to mix, mingle, pull tile swatches in and enjoy custom Country Floors cocktails, wine and passed hors d' oeuvres. All guests are to receive a complimentary Country Floors gift bag.

Tile Design judges include ELLE DECOR Market Editor, Carisha Swanson, Interior Designer Antonino Buzzetta, and Country Floors Showroom Manager Yasin Sengul, who will hand pick the finalist and present the winning tile design.
