Follow on Google News | CGW Author Peter Freeth to Speak at 2016 NLP Conference in LondonCGW Publishing's multiple best-selling author Peter Freeth will appear at London's annual NLP Conference on Sunday 17th April
By: CGW Publishing It's a provocative title for a speaker at a NLP conference, an annual event in London where hundreds of delegates spend 3 days learning about the latest developments in the self-help psychology of Neuro Linguistic Programming. Peter Freeth has written 9 books on the subject so far including Genius at Work, Change Magic and Learning Changes, and as a 20+ year expert in the subject, he is known as an innovator in the field. "I wanted to do something different to the other speakers", says Freeth, "so my first thought was, 'What would be the most controversial subject?', not just for the sake of controversy, but to take a different angle on the subject. So many trainers are still repeating the same stuff from their trainers and their trainers before them, without questioning it." Freeth is known Internationally for his licensed NLP training which brings the subject of NLP up to date with the latest research from psychology and neuroscience. "NLP was created over 30 years ago", says Freeth, "and a lot has changed since then, both in the technology available to us, and the knowledge that we've gained about the workings of the human body and brain. We can watch a living, working brain, and we can see individual neurons and their connections. This just wasn't available in the 1980s, and so Bandler and Grinder, the co-creators of NLP, made some guesses and over the years, those guesses have become facts, and those facts have become embellished by generations of trainers who don't think for themselves and look at the real evidence." Peter Freeth's presentation takes place on Sunday 17th April at the NLP Conference at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel, London Kensington.
