Sustainable Style Abounds on Green Carpet at SolarCity's 5th Annual SBC Industry Achievement Awards

The Sustainable Business Council Industry Achievement awards will honor sustainable business leaders and companies for their commitment to sustainability during Earth Week on April 19, 2016.

LOS ANGELES - April 19, 2016 - PRLog -- A trailblazing group of eco-conscious women will debut the LA Relaxed 2017 Spring Collection to highlight the growing sustainable apparel industry during SolarCity's 5th Annual SBC Industry Achievement Awards this Tuesday, April 19, 2016, from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. PDT, at Lexus Santa Monica.

The event is hosted by the SBC, a non-profit organization that provides a professional networking and education forum for Southern California businesses and individuals working with sustainable products, services, and processes.  The SBC hosts the annual awards event to recognize leaders in the environmental industry in Southern California.  The SBC Industry Achievement awards serve as a way to spotlight organizations whose work supports the mission of the SBC: to improve businesses' operating efficiencies, profit margins, and staff productivity, while lowering the ecological impact of their products and services. The awards also honor individuals and projects that have made outstanding impacts in the sustainability industry.

"Sustainable style is beyond eco groovy," said Molly Lavik, Executive Director of the Sustainable Business Council, "It's about stepping out in style while knowing you are wearing apparel that was made with a mission underscoring environmentally friendly materials!"
