EEVB Tournament - Siesta Key - April 2015 Among these events, Volley America Juniors will host regional championships in Florida, Virginia, Tennessee, New York, Rhode Island, Ohio, and California. Regional qualifiers will be held in several regions offering players the opportunity to win a bid to Regionals, which includes free entry fee + $100/player for travel reimbursements. Teams participating in regional events will have a chance to win a trip to the Volley America Junior Nationals, which will be held in Pt. Pleasant Beach, NJ on August 4-7, 2016. Trip winners will receive $200/player in travel expense reimbursements. Volley America will reimburse players who submit travel expenses after the event for actual and necessary travel, room and board expenses for the player only. Expenses for parents and coaches are not included in the reimbursement. All players are eligible and encouraged to compete in both Regionals and Nationals. Junior Nationals will include a four-day series of clinics, banquets, showcases and tournaments. Thursday, August 4 will be a college showcase, where players will get to show off their skills in front of college recruiters and coaches. Friday, August 5 will be a clinic for players who want to practice and get ready for the big tournament. The actual tournament will take place on Saturday and Sunday, August 6-7. Pool play will occur on Saturday, where players are separated onto different courts by age division and Volley America National Rankings. Players will have an entire day of tournament-style play. Sunday is reserved for playoffs, where players will be split off into Gold and Silver brackets. Players earn points for every Volley America Juniors tournament they participate in that count towards the Volley America Junior Grand Prix. The top 15 players in each division at the end of the year will receive a prize from Volley America. Juniors will have the first chance to qualify for the Volley America Juniors Florida Regionals this Sunday, 4/24/16 at Siesta Key Beach, FL. Winners in Girls 18U, 16U & 14U will each receive a bid into the Regionals which includes free entry fee + $100/player travel expense reimbursement (VA will reimburse players up to $100/player who submit travel expenses after the event for actual and necessary travel, room and board expenses for the player only. Expenses for parents and coaches are not included in the reimbursement.) Florida Regionals will be July 9-10 at International Palms Resort in Cocoa Beach, FL hosted by Sandbox Volleyball. Winners in several divisions will receive bid to the Volley America Junior Nationals, including $200/player travel reimbursement. Volley America Junior Nationals will be held August 4-7, 2016 in Pt.
