By: Holistic Healing Therapy Ltd. On April 30th HHT launches the first in a series of sound therapy events at Walton Community Centre. These events are called gong baths - each relaxation session starts with a simple mindfulness exercise followed by bathing participants in particular sound frequencies. The NHS is increasingly using music and sound therapy, and new scientific studies are demonstrating how sound vibration can help stress, tension and other conditions. These events will take place in seven areas of Elmbridge: Walton, Cobham, Molesey, Hersham, Claygate, Thames Ditton and Weybridge. £1 from each ticket donated to animal and environmental organisations. Gary and Olga are actively involved with the media around the world; they raise awareness on emerging science with a focus on health and well-being. HHT brings people together to learn about well-being, relaxation and stress release. HHT teaches adults about time in nature and the holistic benefits that new science is uncovering. They will also be arranging events across Surrey in co-operation with a Surrey Wildlife organisation. Silicon Valley uses ancient methods to aid creative thinking and team morale - HHT will be educating British business on the use and benefits of these techniques. Gary and Olga suggest that the media sample their sessions - please contact us for more information. Links and further reading Dr Heidi Ahonen, Music Therapy Professor at Wilfrid Laurier University.
