Various Carpet Cleaning London approaches

LONDON - April 20, 2016 - PRLog -- There are different Carpet Cleaning  techniques, starting from dry cleaning to deep cleaning. This article describes briefly the techniques involved in each of the techniques and their advantages and disadvantages.

1. Carpet shampoo technique

This approach produces foam within the carpet when it is cleaned with shampoo. As soon as the carpet is thoroughly cleaned, it must be allowed to dry which so that dust particles could be cleaned later.

But, for this technique the carpet has to have high foam which would reduce wetting and it has to be very lubricated to reduce the damages as a result of brushing.

For this technique, two machines are used called cylindrical foam and rotary shampoo. The former uses an air compressor to produce dry foam before applying to the carpet. Then the carpet is rubbed with cylindrical brushes where the dust is trapped in a pile. While the later uses a rotary machine to whip off the dust as soon as the shampoo is sprayed on the carpet. This process is not recommended as it could damage the carpet easily.

2. Carpet absorbent cleaner

This method is also called the dry cleaning as the use of water is totally absent. In here, absorbent compounds (dry) are sprayed onto the carpet which will absorb the dust particles that could be mechanically removed by brushes later. As soon as the carpet is cleaned, it should be fully vacuumed to ensure there are no absorbent particles in it. This method is fairly common but it requires some drying time.

3. Carbonated cleaning

This process is also known as the bonnet approach. It involves spraying carpets with carbonated cleaning solution which absorbs the dirt. After squeezing the carpet delicately, it is placed underneath the auto oscillating brush.

This method is regarded as dry cleaning despite using water.

4. Steam cleaning

This method requires usage of hot or warm water and therefore it's also referred to as the hot or warm water extraction.

This approach is highly recommended and is typically the perfect method for cleaning carpets. With this method, a mixture (solution) of water and detergent is sprayed onto the carpet which is later removed using a hoover. Steam cleaners produce very insignificant water and clean with steam mostly (90-95%) and this occurs when the temperature is raised to 245 degrees or more depending on the type of device. This is the ultimate deep cleaning method because other approaches involve only shell or surface cleaning.

This method is better even from health notion as the dust particles are eliminated and left outside of the house or the system instead of forcing them inside the carpets and allowing them to rotate again.

Regardless of what cleaning technique you use, if you allow your carpets to get too dirty you could damage them and often that's beyond repair. As a result, it is recommended to clean your carpets regularly or use professional Carpet Cleaning London agencies. Carpets must be cleaned properly every 12 to 16 months depending upon the size of the house.
