New York, New Jersey, Connecticut Rose of Tralee International Festival 2016

April 20, 2016 - PRLog -- The Rose Tour of NY,NJ,CT offers the perfect opportunity to showcase the Rose of Tralee Festival. It also is a very important event on the NY,NJ.CT tourism calendar as the media coverage that the Rose Tour commands is the perfect picture postcard to send to the world. Festivals are an integral part of Regional tourism, and the variety and array of events interspersed into every corner of NY,NJ,CT give visitors the opportunity to see all that the Tri-State has to offer. Three days of Touring events with Roses, Ambassadors, Jr. Roses, Young Leaders, Rosebuds & Buddy's from Connecticut to New Jersey can only mean that the Launch of the NY,NJ,CT Rose of Tralee International Festival is just the beginning, as we begin to build the Rose Center which will expand each year to become bigger, better, exciting and fun, an event not to be missed!

More Roses, more Rose Ambassadors, more RoseBuds, more entertainment, more family fun and more visitors can only mean that NY,NJ,CT will enjoy a major boost to the local economy that the Festival will deliver.

The people of NY,NJ,Ct and our Rose Center organizers have been longing to bring our NY,NJ,CT Rose to Tralee, and from 2016 that dream will be realized. Roses have mirrored a changing world and the definition of Irishness that is celebrated by so many different people around the world. Roses have come to reflect the aspirations of modern young  women and embrace our global diaspora in a positive and refreshing way.

A Rose represents the collective aspirations, social responsibilities and ambitions of a variety of communities and backgrounds, united by a desire to celebrate Irish heritage.

The NY,NJ,CT Rose of Tralee is a selection open to young women (ages 18-27, not having reached your 28th birthday prior to 1 September of current year) of Irish heritage. The Rose of Tralee looks to find an intelligent, independent young woman who serves as an example of a modern Irish American woman in NY,NJ,CT. The winner will represent New York in Ireland at the International Rose of Tralee Festival in Kerry in August.

The Rose of Tralee International Festival is one of Ireland's largest and longest running festivals, celebrating 57 years in 2016.
