Print It Plus Co-Owner David Leland elected to Royal Palm Beach Planning & Zoning Commission

ROYAL PALM BEACH, Fla. - May 2, 2016 - PRLog -- David and his wife Kimberly have resided in the Village for 24 years. The couple has co-owned Print It Plus for over 27 years. The business has been located at 11420 Okeechobee Boulevard, Royal Palm Beach for the entire time. The Lelands have been well-regarded citizens in Royal Palm Beach ever since opening Print It Plus. They volunteer for numerous charities and other community organizations throughout their almost 3 decades living in the area.

Still, David felt it was time to do more for the Village itself. "The Village of Royal Palm Beach has been very good to us. We grew our family here as well as our business," David said. "I felt as if it was time to give back something more to our community. I was very happy when I received the call from Councilman Swift to inform me I had been elected."

The Planning & Zoning Commission of the Village of Royal Palm Beach has played a vital role in the managed growth of the village through the last 5 plus decades. "The Planning and Zoning Department ensures development is planned, constructed, and documented according to the Village's Comprehensive Plan and Village Code. The department also provides professional advice and technical expertise to Village Council, appointed boards and commissions, city departments, and citizens. Furthermore, the department is also tasked with reviewing building permits for zoning compliance, evaluating and updating the Village Code and Comprehensive Plan, and responding to public inquiries."

David was voted onto the Commission with a unanimous vote of 5-0 by Mayor Pinto, Councilman Swift and the 3 other Councilpersons currently on the village board. All Planning & Zoning Commission members serve a term of 3 years.
