Jaguar Classic Challenge - Race 13, Monday 2nd May The Jaguar E-Type Low Drag Coupe of Julian Thomas and Calum Lockie started the Jaguar Classic Challenge from pole position. The race saw a mixture of dry weather, light rain and monsoon like downpours, making for very challenging driving conditions. A good wet setup proved to be the right strategy and the Jaguar came home to take victory 6 seconds ahead of the 2nd place car. A really great result for the team who worked tirelessly all weekend on the car. GT and Sports Car Cup - Race 5, Sunday 1st May A pair of Austin Healey 3000's, driven by Jeremy Welch/Martyn Corfield and Nils-Frederik Nyblaeus/Jeremy Welch and the Jaguar E-Type of Julian Thomas/Calum Lockie joined the grid of 35 starters for the GT and Sports Car Cup. The 90 minute race was not without drama following a multi car incident and the deployment of the safety car. Following the mandatory pit stop the cars continued to perform well. The Healey 3000 of Welch/Corfield took 6th place overall, and first in the GT3 class. Jeremy Welch also took 8th place overall and 2nd in the GT3 class having also co-driven with Nils-Frederik Nyblaeus. RAC Woodcote Trophy - Race 7, Sunday 1st May The RAC Woodcote Trophy featured the Austin Healey 100M of Nils-Frederik Nyblaeus and the Austin Healey 100S of Karsten Le Blanc, both cars put in strong performances in a competitive field. Jeremy Welch, Managing Director of Denis Welch Motorsport said "A huge congratulations to all drivers and members of the team who made this very busy weekend such a successful one.
