The Governors Club To Host Liberty Mutual Insurance Invitational Charity Golf Tournament On June 20

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. - May 4, 2016 - PRLog -- The Liberty Mutual Insurance Invitational, the leading charity golf event, is coming to Governors Club in Brentwood, Tenn., on June 20. The event is seeking players and sponsors. Funds raised from the event will support the Tennessee Kidney Foundation (TKF), which aims to improve the health and well being of Tennesseans affected by kidney disease, through education, prevention, treatment, advocacy, and promotion of organ donation.

"The Tennessee Kidney Foundation relies on funds generated from this golf tournament to provide valuable resources back to the community," said Ron Carter, TKF board president. "TKF offers free kidney disease screenings, patient assistance programs and prevention education."

The prestigious event offers two shotgun starts, 8:00 am and 1:30 pm. Players will receive a sponsor supported swag bag and all green and cart fees along with food and beverages are covered in the cost of the registration. The event concludes with an awards dinner that evening.  The winning foursome will qualify to join the winners of each of the other events throughout the year at the Liberty Mutual Insurance Invitational National Finals at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, March 8-12, 2017.

The golf event is one of the largest fundraisers for the Tennessee Kidney Foundation. Every year, the Tennessee Kidney Foundation (TKF) meets thousands of requests for help by distributing more than 75% of its operating budget to kidney patients through its assistance programs.
