 Walla Walla Valley Honda Will Sponsor Rock and Roll CampThe Walla Walla Symphony Rock and Roll Camp helps at-risk teens, find and develop new skills and have a great time.
At the same time, each student will be able to take advantage of coaching and mentoring services, helping them to gain self-confidence, work through issues, and develop a stronger sense of belonging to the Walla Walla community. This is all arranged by the Walla Walla Symphony, which, having been bringing people together since 1907, is the oldest continually operating symphony orchestra west of the Mississippi. It's a central part of the cultural identity of people around Walla Walla, College Place, and Kennewick, but they always need help from sponsors to keep their summer program completely free. Walla Walla Valley Honda has frequently come forward to contribute to the community and help those in need - it was just last year that the dealership donated a car to one local resident who, though regularly donating time to the Blue Mountain Action Council Food Bank for over a decade, had been without a car for his family for over four years. This significant contribution to the Walla Walla Symphony Rock and Roll Camp is just the latest of Walla Walla Valley Honda's generous contributions.
