Walla Walla Valley Honda Hires a New Marketing DirectorOver the past 14 years, Beth Swanson has worked to forge lasting relationships all throughout Walla Walla. Her focus has always been on creating a better, brighter community. In 1990, she earned a Bachelor of Arts: Sports Marketing and Business from Washington State University in Pullman, WA. Since relocating to Walla Walla from Seattle in 2004, she's made a positive impact on a big scale—so much so that she's secured the position of Marketing Director at Underriner Automotive. Get to Know Beth Swanson In 2007, Beth founded the Moms' Network, giving local families the opportunity to connect. Additionally, she served on the board of the Downtown Walla Walla Foundation while also volunteering for the promotional committee. She's spearheaded several promotions from various marketing positions she's held:
As a mom of five boys—aged 8 to 18—Beth is committed to building a better tomorrow for Walla Walla's children. She participated in a Parent Advisory for the Washington State Department of Learning, and volunteered with Walla Walla schools and Little League. From 2007 to 2013, she managed marketing and publicity for Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots, which resulted in 1,000 new toys for local children in the last year. A Return to Family Roots As part of the Brotherton Family, Beth Swanson knows her way around a dealership, as well as what it takes to gain support in the community. From 1993 to 1994, she attended NADA Dealer Candidate Academy and worked to give her family's Cadillac, Lexus, and Land Rover franchises larger platforms in Washington State. Still working at the family dealerships, she launched her own events and marketing company in Seattle in 1998. In 2004, she relocated to Walla Walla. Beth Swanson had this to say: "I am excited for the opportunity that Blake and Underriner Automotive have given me to be a part of their business. Their business model is one of honesty, hard work, family, and community involvement [...]. This is an opportunity that brings me back to my roots, but also allows me to stay involved in my community and the Moms' Network. I am happy to be a part of their team."
