SYNOPSIS:
Quiet Please... goes behind closed doors to capture the lives of over 35 people who are living with Misophonia.  Most people have certain sounds that bother or annoy them, but that's what differentiates the average person from one who has this condition; these specific sounds actually cause a physiological reaction, including: an adrenaline rush, increased heart rate and a feeling of rage that needs to be released.  While the film touches on a possible cause for Misophonia and the steps it would take to research it, the focus is on how the condition affects every aspect of a person's life and eventually takes an emotional and psychological toll on the individual and those around them.

Here's what people are saying from around the world:
"My name is Mor, from Israel. I have seen your movie trailer "Quiet please..." and I loved it. I also have this condition so when I watched the trailer I was relieved knowing I`m not crazy, nor alone."

"I will be attending the premiere of "Quiet Please..." 0n June the 18th. I'm flying from Barcelona just to see the work you have done. I can't begin to thank you enough for all the effort you have put into this matter." - Marta

"You KNOW how much we appreciate you and your selfless energy and time you have out into this. Miso is a cruel condition and robs so many people of normal day to day activities. The awareness you have spread is immeasurable Jeff. Thank you from the bottom of my heart." - Laura

ABOUT THE FILMMAKER:
Jeffrey Scott Gould, director, cinematographer and editor of "Quiet Please..." has been producing award-winning videos and films for over 25 years. Regardless of genre: medical, educational, marketing videos or documentaries, Jeffrey's skills for visual storytelling are infused into all of his projects. Several years ago, Jeffrey got involved in Indie Film with such credits as Executive Producer, Cinematographer and Editor and Sound Designer, that resulted in two award-winning narrative short films. It was with this combined experience that he pursued his dream of producing a documentary on a subject close to his heart.

Jeffrey says, "I feel I have something that I can contribute...something that could make a difference; especially since it has been a part of my life for 48 years.  It's only been a few years since I learned that such a condition actually exists and it was cathartic to know that I wasn't alone. I felt empowered and as I began educating those around me, I saw a change; an understanding and a willingness to help me cope with this life-altering condition...I decided to use my skills as a filmmaker, to explore the emotional and psychological impact on not only the sufferer's lives, but on their loved ones as well."
