'Recycle For Lyme' at the Phoenixville Farmers Market May 28th!

PHOENIXVILLE, Pa. - May 23, 2016 - PRLog -- Ticked Off Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization, is excited to announce that in honor of Lyme Disease Awareness Month, they will have a representative set up at the Phoenixville Farmer's Market on May 28, 2016 to collect recyclables for their Recycle for Lyme program.

The Recycle For Lyme program is a combined effort of the Ticked Off Foundation and TerraCycle.  Participants (individuals, clubs or businesses) are asked to collect specific non-traditional materials/containers, ordinarily destined for the land fill or incinerators.  Once enough of these items are collected, the participant requests a free shipping label to send to Terra Cycle.  All proceeds from the collected recyclables goes to the Ticked Off Foundation.

"Our hope is to help raise money and awareness for the Ticked Off Foundation and to encourage residents in the Phoenixville area to use this fundraising and environmentally conscious program on their own" says Jennifer Vanderslice, who will be manning the Recycle for Lyme tent at the farmer's market.

Empty, clean personal care containers to be collected at the Phoenixville Farmers Market include:

Shampoo and conditioner bottles
Body Wash bottles
Body and face lotion bottles and tubes
Mouthwash bottles
Toothpaste tubes
Toothbrushes
Deodorant and antiperspirant containers
