Flux Electric Bike to Conclude Campaign as Highest Funded Sports E-bike in history of Crowdfunding

SAN FRANCISCO - May 28, 2016 - PRLog -- After almost 60 days of a successful campaign, Flux Electric Bike will soon conclude their reign on Indiegogo after reaching over $1.5M USD in funding, a major milestone for the San Francisco startup. Supporters have one day left to back the project which ends at midnight tonight and get one of the three models Flux offers on Indiegogo at a huge discount.


The American-British venture achieved this past week the title of the highest funded sports e-bike campaign in the history of crowdfunding, reaching another goal that led them to release an early stretch goal perk in the campaign. The Boomerang, the first cloud-enabled GPS biking platform for bikes, features anti-theft, a GPS receiver and performance analytics.

Immediately after finishing the campaign, part of the team will move to the factory where the bikes will be manufactured to inspect closely the production process and quality test every component. "The decision to move to the place of manufacture wasn't easy, but we believe that we have to do everything in our hands to deliver the best e-bike in the world," mentioned Peter Leaviss, co-founder of Flux Electric Bike.

Production of the bikes started three weeks ago when the team announced placing a major order for bicycle components and high capacity lithium batteries for their pre-orders.
