NetQuest Expands Cloud-Based WAN Network Monitoring Functions within Alpine Patrol EMS

MOUNT LAUREL, N.J. - June 1, 2016 - PRLog -- NetQuest Corporation, a leading manufacturer of monitoring access solutions, today announced the expansion of its Alpine Patrol EMS via a new firmware release.  Alpine Patrol EMS is a cloud-based network monitoring element management platform intended to simplify and expand the surveillance capabilities of DWDM, OTN, SONET/SDH and native Ethernet networks.  The new Alpine Patrol EMS firmware adds remote network analytic functions and also enables management of a wider array of network monitoring devices.

As WAN and Metro network architectures are transitioning from traditional SONET/SDH based ring topologies to intelligent mesh based higher speed OTN networks, monitoring applications are becoming exponentially more complex and difficult to manage.  Alpine Patrol EMS simplifies the analysis of the monitored network's transport infrastructure and expedites the ability to extract traffic of interest for deeper analytics.
