Transformation Film Institute (TFI) Announces Christian Filmmakers Boot Camp

DALLAS - June 5, 2016 - PRLog -- The inaugural TFI boot camp will take place on June 13-19 in Weatherford, Texas at the Capernaum Village and Retreat Center. The Capernaum campus offers film students room and board at a beautiful hilltop house for the entirety of the boot camp. The location includes two film backlots with a modern city locale and a first century historical village complete with craft and set rooms, costumes, dressing rooms and make up areas.

The week long program will be an intense university level film emergence program with lectures, production labs, use of studio equipment and onsite shooting opportunities that utilize the existing back lot filming areas. Every boot camp participant will go through five disciplines of independent filmmaking with an emphasis on those using the medium in a redemptive and evangelistic capacity.

Classroom sessions will be taught by working university professionals from well-known Christian schools like Liberty and Regent University. Professional filmmakers like Dave Christiano of ChristianFilm.com, owner of Five & Two Studios will be on hand to open the camp with an inspirational session on the need for redemptive focused film projects.

There will be times of worship, impartation, networking and collaboration with likeminded Christians all called into the same medium.

Transformation Film Institute is a Christian media program dedicated to promoting the Gospel of Jesus through the medium of television and film.
