The 2016 TPN Film Awards Announces Winners

ATLANTA - June 6, 2016 - PRLog -- The People's Network hosted the Inaugural TPN Film Awards on Friday June 4, 2016. The Atlanta based award show was created to showcase Independent Films that participated in the bi-monthly held TPN Film Festival. The TPN festival is the only festival in Atlanta that gives back to the filmmaker, since its inception 2 years ago filmmakers have been given close to $10,000.

Bobby and Renee Peoples are the founders of The TPN FILM FEST a bimonthly event that that supports five local Atlanta filmmakers; help build them an audience through screening, and provides financial compensation through profit sharing. The Peoples Network was established in 2008. Collectively they have over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry. They have written and produced over 100 web series, features and short films since 2009.

The goal of The Peoples Network Music and Film Festivals is to provide an opportunity for filmmakers and musicians to meet their fans. The platform allows them to share their creative works with like-minded individuals, industry insiders, and it helps them to create a network in which they can establish a foundation in the industry they choose. The ideal would be a "Working, established community for all filmmakers, writers, directors, actors, producers to earn a living doing what they love."
