Caribbean Medical School - Avalon wishes to Congratulate it's Newest Honorary Graduate!

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - June 14, 2016 - PRLog -- Avalon University School of Medicine has awarded Dr. Prasad Srinivasan an Honorary Doctor of Medicine Degree to acknowledge his many accomplishments and reward his exceptional leadership in medical education and the medical profession.

Some of Dr. Srinivasan's notable tributes include: providing opportunities for medical students and residents to shadow and learn, numerous awards and recognition for leadership and community service, as well as Dr. Srinivasan's family established the Prasad Family Foundation. This foundation awards both need-base scholarships and merit scholarships for secondary education.

Dr. Prasad Srinivasan was also a past guest commencement speaker for Avalon University School of Medicine. He currently serves as a State Representative for Connecticut in the 31st District, and is the only physician in the General Assembly.
