Summit Building Services was recently awarded multiple new cleaning contracts

REISTERSTOWN, Md. - June 14, 2016 - PRLog -- Summit Building Services, Inc. was awarded a cleaning services contract at The Arc of Westminster, (Westminster, MD). The Arc is a 50,000 square foot building located off route 97 by the Westminster airport. This contract consists of floor cleaning and maintenance.

Phase I includes daily cleaning of the new addition and Phase II includes post-construction cleanup after the renovation, and transitioning towards regular cleaning services.

Summit also was awarded the post construction cleaning contract from the general contractor Bruchey Builders, Inc. This decision was advantageous for The Arc and Summit by allowing a smooth transition from post construction cleanup to the general, daily cleaning.

An Advance Battery Powered 36 inch floor scrubber was used to clean the new terrazzo floor. After the Terrazzo floor was installed Summit sealed and waxed the resilient tile. All windows- exterior and interior, restrooms, lunchroom, activity rooms, offices and much more were cleaned and readied for The Arc's move-in date. All deadlines were met!

Summit Building Services, Inc. was awarded the tri-monthly production floor cleaning contract for Fidelity Engineering's Kohler Division, located in Hunt Valley, MD.

The floors were swept with an oil-based sweeping compound and then scrubbed the floor with an Advance 36 inch scrubber. Old oil and grease was removed from the floor.

Summit Building Services, Inc. was recently contracted to provide high dusting and vent cleaning of the Savors Thrift Store. Summit technicians climbed aboard a 30 ft scissors lift to gain the necessary access.  All electrical conduit, plumbing fixtures, light fixtures and vents from 8ft to the ceiling were dusted. Great care was takend in protecting Savors clothes and many display items for sale by carefully and methodically covering the wares with plastic sheeting.

Summit Building Services, Inc. cleaned and swept concrete floors of a 500,000 sq. ft for the Chesapeake Real Estate Group's building in Aberdeen, MD.

Summit swept into action and identified the issue at hand immediately. Excess floor sealer had crystallized on the surface of the concrete floors and had to be scrubbed off and polished. Summit responded the next morning with an Advance SC 7000 floor scrubber.

The cleaning began with scrubbing and polishing. Summit was able to finish the floors in time to meet the tight deadline.
