Follow on Google News | Got Data? Exciting New Sensor Line to Launch at Sensors Expo 2016B-Scada, Inc. has announced that after several months of development, it will be launching its much anticipated new line of wireless sensors at this month's Sensor Expo & Conference in San Jose, CA.
By: B-Scada, Inc. B-Scada is releasing two lines of wireless sensors - one for residential and commercial deployments and another line of heavy duty wireless sensors for industrial and smart city deployments. What's so exciting about the new sensor lines? The light duty (S-Series) sensors not only boast a significantly longer signal range than comparable wireless sensors, but they are also designed to be both affordable and easy-to-use. They are pre-configured for plug-and-play installation, bypassing the configuration difficulties associated with similar light duty sensors. B-Scada's heavy duty (V-Series) sensors will also be announced, scheduled for full release this Fall. The V-Series sensors are enclosed in a NEMA rated casing to allow them to operate efficiently in all weather conditions and difficult environments. They leverage the LoRaWAN communication protocol to communicate wirelessly over extraordinarily long distances, and boast a modular design that allows up to four 0-20mA sensing probes to be connected simultaneously, allowing them to monitor virtually anything, including: pressure, temperature, humidity, flow rates, velocity, vibration, CO2 levels, pH - any number of analog measurements that are output at 0-20mA. By providing both the sensing hardware and software needed to translate that sensor data into actionable intelligence, B-Scada has eliminated many of the obstacles that have prevented organizations from moving forward with their IoT initiatives. "The wait is finally over," says B-Scada Marketing Manager, Rich Hunzinger. "B-Scada is now positioned to provide full end-to-end IoT solutions in nearly any vertical market. This is a great opportunity to help people get their IoT and smart city initiatives off the ground. B-Scada's sensor customers will be able to monitor their sensor data using B-Scada's popular data visualization software, providing real-time and historical data values, configurable alarms and notifications, and even the ability to design their own custom graphics using B-Scada's point-and-click graphic design application, Mimic Designer. About B-Scada, Inc. B-Scada provides software and hardware solutions for the monitoring and analysis of real time data in the SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) End
