Make A Wish® Hudson Valley Supporters Prepare For Annual Golf Fundraiser to Benefit Kids

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. - June 22, 2016 - PRLog -- Golf enthusiasts looking to spend a great day on the renowned greens at the historic Sleepy Hollow Country Club, Briarcliff Manor on Tuesday, August 30 in support of Make-A-Wish® Hudson Valley better hurry and sign up now.  Or risk being shut out from one of the year's most notable happenings for a wonderful cause.

It's Golf for Wishes, the third of four special signature events that Make-A-Wish® Hudson Valley is presenting as part of its 30^th anniversary celebration to help grant the pending wishes of more than 150 kids throughout the Hudson Valley with life-threatening medical conditions.

In addition to teeing off and playing on the challenging 103-year old course, supporters will enjoy cocktails and dinner following an afternoon of play on the unique 27-hole course.

Golf for Wishes gets underway at 11 AM with registration and brunch, followed by the shotgun blast at 12:30 PM that will officially start an afternoon of play for  hundreds of supporters. At 5:30 PM, players will join for cocktails and dinner as well as for an awards ceremony.

The minimum fee/donation for a single golfer is $425 which includes single golf reservation, all meals and beverages throughout the day, specialty gifts, and eligibility for golf awards.

The fee for a foursome is $1,600.

For those who attend only the evening portion, the cost is $150 per individual and includes the reservation, cocktails and dinner.

The fourth and last 30^th anniversary signature event will be the 11^th Annual Walk/Run for Wishes which will be held on Sunday, October 30^th when hundreds of supporters, including Wish kids and their families converge at FDR State Park in Yorktown Heights.
