Special Olympics athletes were at the event, not only to run, but also to lead participants in the "Athlete's Oath" and the national anthem. Runners started their race with a trip through the Special Olympics high-five tunnel. Several local companies participated and supported the event, including Finish Line sponsor Bob Rohrman Subaru, Tri-N-Run, Breakfast Sponsor Bison Financial Group, K105 and WASK, Fresh Thyme, Culligan Water, and the SIA Foundation sponsored the event. Wabash National, and Heartland Automotive had the two largest teams in the event. Faith and Civitian provided volunteers. End
