Performance Equity Management Announces the Retirement of CEO Charles Froland

GREENWICH, Conn. - July 5, 2016 - PRLog -- As part of a year-long transition, Performance Equity Management announces the retirement of Charles Froland, CEO, effective June 30, 2016. Charles will continue to be associated with the firm in his new role as Senior Advisor. As part of its succession planning, in 2015 the firm promoted John Clark to the role of President and Jeff Barman to the role of Chief Investment Officer. Together, John and Jeff oversee the management of the firm.

Charles said, "I have devoted the past two decades of my career to the development of the PEM organization, from my days with General Motors Investment Management Corporation, through to the last eleven years as CEO of PEM, and I know that the Partners of PEM represent a strong bench of talent and leadership to take the Firm into its next chapter."  As Senior Advisor, PEM will continue to benefit from Charles' experience and expertise.

Regarding his role as CIO, Jeff Barman said, "Charles will be missed, but the relationships he and the team have built over the past twenty years endure.
