By: Archbishop Stepinac High School The Bard's beloved romantic comedy will be staged on the back lawn of Stepinac at 950 Mamaroneck Avenue, White Plains. In case of rain, performances will be held in the school's air conditioned Major Bowes Auditorium. The cast consists of alumni who performed in productions of the school's Drama Club when they attended the all-boys Stepinac as well as their female counterparts who went to other high schools throughout the region and members of the Stepinac faculty. The cast of characters and their hometowns includes: The Royals Theseus Mike Mollinelli, Briarcliff Manor Hippolyta Patricia Murphy, Cross River Lysander John Guaragna Bronx Demetrius Chris Guzman, White Plains Hermia Lisa DiCarlucci, Tarrytown Helena Nicole Henry, Rye Egeus Joe Debona, New Rochelle The Rude Mechanicals Quince Frankie Rocco, Bronx Bottom Samer Akroush, Yonkers Flute Joe Venice, Yonkers Snout Joe Lore, Hastings-on- Snug Maria Chiocchio, Scarsdale The Fairy World Puck Brian McNally,Yonkers Oberon Frank Portanova, White Plains Titania Nellie O'Brien, Yorktown heights Peaseblossom Stephanie Ferreira, Mt. Kisco Cobweb Tess McIntyre, Valhalla Faye Brendan DelBene, Bronx Moth Nicole Bonnani, Elmsford and James Prestopino, Briarcliff Manor Mustardseed Alfred Menna, West Harrison and Christian Amato, Bronx The production is directed by Christian Amato (Class of '06). Amato is founder of a New York City-based based acting company called the Theatre Project and currently works for Samuel French Inc in New York City. A Midsummer Night's Dream is produced by Alfred Menna (Class of '92), a local school librarian and current member of the Stepinac Alumni Association Board. The cost of tickets is $15.
