Michelle Hodges Returns Home To Beaufort South Carolina As The Golden Child

BEAUFORT, S.C. - July 8, 2016 - PRLog -- South Carolina's own Michelle Hodges returns to host another gut-busting comedy show in Beaufort,SC July 16^{th, 2016}.

Known as Celebrity Comedian Mz WallStreet, Hodges will feature a lineup of comedy's funniest characters at the Carolina Laughs in Town Comedy Show.

The lineup includes headliner and comedic great, Doo Doo Brown, who is known for his hysterical performances on BET Comic View and as a part of P. Diddy's Bad Boys of Comedy. He is joined by fellow comedians Nema Williams, Greg Langford, and Lady Q. Show goers will also be treated to the musical talents of soul singer, GwenYvette.

Mz.WallStreet is a multifaceted entertainer who lends her talents as an actress, comedienne, poet, mistress of ceremony and plus size model throughout the state of Georgia and beyond. Her unique flare consists of a unique blend of colloquial flavors from the south to the north.

An Atlanta favorite, Mz. WallStreet is a regular at Atlanta's comedy hotspots. Most notably are her appearances at Cafe 290 as the house comedian, Sister's in Spanx 1- 2, Jerry Farber's Side Door, Atlanta Punchline,  JSpot in LA, and at the elite Presidential election party given at historic Paschal's restaurant.

With her accomplishments, it's not hard to be proud of this homegrown talent who tickles funny bones all over the world.  Michelle was born and raised in Walterboro and is the third of four children to working-class parents, Herbert Hodges and Verria Mae Salley Hodges. Theirs was a competitive household that found weekends filled with organized sports and community service. This activity, however, did not intercept the twist of fate that left Michelle pregnant at the age of 14. After the birth of a healthy daughter, Michelle moved forward to reclaim her life and etch out a future for herself and her daughter. After the untimely death of her mother during Michelle's junior year in high school, Michelle assumed the role of family matriarch while maintaining a high grade point average. Five scholarship offers set her path to New York where she studied Journalism at the College of New Rochelle.

The return of Comedian Mz.WallStreet to South Carolina with her Carolina Laughs in Town Comedy Show will likely be filled with hysterical stories about her life. Her unique style will leave you gasping for air as you laugh about relatable experiences made colorful as only our own golden child.
