Now the owners want to make her a pin-up calendar girl!
By: MoonGlow PR "We're hoping to bring attention to the understanding, awareness and need for the rescue of pitbulls by winning this contest and getting Macha on the cover of the calendar next year", says Jennifer Vanderslice. Macha lives with her owners in Malvern, PA with 3 cats, 5 chickens and two 'puppy brothers'. Pet owners were encouraged enter the contest by submitting a photo of their dog or cat and make a $10 donation to the Brandywine Valley SPCA by July 31, 2016. Voting for the contest began on August 1, 2016 and will continue through August 15, 2016 11:59 p.m. (et). The dog or cat with the most votes and had been adopted from the Brandywine Valley SPCA will become the cover model for 2017 Brandywine SPCA calendar and get a professional photo shoot. Runners up in 2nd to 13th place will become "models of the month" for one of the 2017 Calendar pages and also get a professional photo shoot. To help Macha win, supporters are asked to make a donation on her designated webpage.
