About Robert Sarzo aka VuDu Man "A Salute to Santana": Guitarist, Composer/Songwriter Robert Sarzo (aka VuDu Man) spent his early years in Communist Cuba and became aware of the struggle for freedom all around him. His parents gave up everything to come to America when they made the journey to freedom, with he and his Brother Rudy, they knew the world would change for the better. On a cloudy day, the Sun suddenly shown through as Robert discovered one of the biggest influences in his life, the music of Carlos Santana. He grew up, joined a few bands with a list of names that would make your head spin. After Robert's success with Writing, Producing and Recording hit songs with the Band Hurricane, playing music with an amazing succession of musicians and bringing Hurricane back together, Robert was longing for the road again. He joined Geoff Tate's Queensryche, where he played 2 years along with his Brother Rudy cheering each other on. Upon the end of the tour, Robert could have done anything he wanted but was inspired to perform Santana's Grammy Winning Music in appreciation for Carlos Santana paving the way for Latino Rock Musicians. Robert's passion for this project has taken him far beyond his expectations. Encapsulating the soul and bringing the heat of Carlos Santana's signature guitar sound and Latin vibes, Robert Sarzo re-creates the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer at his best on classic rock grooves like "Black Magic Woman" and "Oye Como Va."
