"With our user-friendly 3x3 concept, customers have no trouble finding the solutions for their daily challenges. Complexity is a thing of the past", explains Dr Uwe Schleinkofer, Head of Development at Cutting Solutions by CERATIZIT. MaxiMill 491 With the MaxiMill 491 milling system, CERATIZIT is exploring new avenues in technological terms. "We have rethought the shoulder milling process and made it easy," explains Dr Uwe Schleinkofer, Head of Development at Cutting Solutions by CERATIZIT. The new shoulder milling system relies on precision inserts with eight usable cutting edges to produce profiles of exactly 90°. Highlights of the standard product portfolio Additional product highlights from Cutting Solutions by CERATIZIT at the AMB are the successful MaxiDrill 900 and recently developed products and programme extensions of the standard product portfolio. One of these is the highly innovative new cermet grade COLORSTARTM CTEP110 with a multi-layer Al2O3 coating exemplifying the latest technology in the nano range. Solutions for producers of solid carbide tools Toolmaker Solutions by CERATIZIT offers information about the extended range of carbide grades. These include the exceptionally tough CTS25D and CTS30D grades for the production of cutting tools, while grade CTF25E features excellent resistance to breakage in PCD tools and tool shanks. The extended portfolio of blanks for drills and milling cutters includes new diameters for drill blanks up to 5xD with through-coolant and more than 50 new dimensions for end mill blanks.
