FL Rose Sheena Kelly At the Rose of Tralee Festival!

Aug. 18, 2016 - PRLog -- Sheena Kelly is representing the state of Florida in the Rose of Tralee International Festival, one of Ireland's largest festivals, after winning the title of the Florida Rose a few months ago.

The Rose of Tralee Festival is an international competition, from August 17-23, which is celebrated among Irish Communities all over the world. The festival, held annually in the town of Tralee, in County Kerry, takes its inspiration from a nineteenth-century ballad of the same name about a woman called Mary, who because of her beauty was called The Rose of Tralee.

The Rose of Tralee International Festival is one of Ireland's largest and longest running festivals, celebrating fifty-seven years in 2016. The heart of the festival is the selection of the Rose of Tralee which brings young women of Irish descent from around the world to County Kerry, Ireland for a global celebration of Irish culture. The festival also includes street entertainment, carnival, live concerts, theatre, circus, markets, funfair, fireworks and Rose Parades.
